Well, I certainly don't deal with any of that stuff, nor does anyone in my offices. But we have 35,000 employees, and the network is configured for the security of those working with the most sensitive information.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ha, vindication! All the tenants in my building just got the landlord's mass e-mail about the disturbance I reported last week, and it was both more specific to the incident than I'd imagined (which I'm glad of, as another neighbor has since had a weekend party and might have thought the complaint was about him if the message hadn't specified a weeknight) and sterner, pointing out the disruption is a violation of the lease we all signed and persisting in such behavior may lead to eviction.
I'm not sure yet which way things will shake out, but looks like I'm either going to have a quiet neighbor or a new one.
ita, ha... We'd have one huge thing in common. And he probably wouldn't mind using "Gangster's Paradise" as a wedding processional. But I'm getting ahead of myself. why would anyone hate being told they look like Kima? She's hot and she's a fighter...I'd preen all day. Of course, I look like Kima's photo-negative so there are probably Issues I Don'T Understand. But Sonja Sohn is awesome-looking. And a poet(and not "Your Feet are Longfellows" kind)ETA: I do think the young fiends who watch "The Wire" but don't read are missing the point, just a touch. Also, as profound of a Wire Geek as I am, I don't need to know that you barely stopped to pee. Shit ain't seemly.

Seriously. When she went undercover for surveillance as a phone company worker or electrician or whatever, I'm thinking "But you know everyone's staring at the hot chick in the overalls, right? No matter what her job, she's turning a non-negligible %age of heads." OR SHE SHOULD BE.
wrod...Kima rocks. Bubbles dug up some long-forgotten game to keep her attention.
While I'm trawling the Gawker sites...Jilli, is it time for you to renew your vows?
I hate it when I realize I've failed to finish editing a sentence when I've sent an email that goes to important people.
I mean, it's not that bad, but still. D'oh.
I swear, the editing mistakes in this post are so funny to me now in my time of facepalm.
Damn, it looks like a bunch of my coworkers took off early anyway. Heh.
Maybe I will leave a little early, then. And make PIE.
Wonderful news on the job, msbelle! $$!
Scrappy, yay for Chet! My friends have a labradoodle, and she's the sweetest, most laid-back doggie ever.
Do people here have deliberate face care routines? Like, more than "this is the convenient stuff I use on my face", and more like "this is the stuff that makes me look like this--anything else I've tried makes me break out/greasy/dry/whatever"?
I sometimes remember to wash my face at night. If I wear makeup I take it off with a soft cloth and sweet almond oil. Once I get an appt with a new dermatologist I'll have a new script for Retin-A, and then I will get into a routine of washing and moisturing my face at night before I put on the Retin-A. I don't have a One True Product, but I do like Olay and Source Naturals. I like using coconut and jojoba oils, too.
