I also have made baked oatmeal tonight, though mine is bananas and blueberries. I've also mde soup for lunch this week and hard boiled eggs for The Small One.

I have the soundtrack, and it includes great dialogue snippets like, "What family would want a daughter-in-law who can run around kicking football all day but can't make round chapatis?"
Oh, I can come up with books-casts and audio and... It's just the enforced-ness of it that sucks. And really? Lying down, cats piled up, over-caffinated, eyes closed no matter how intriguing the audio materials, after 2 days? Hell, after 1? Your brain turns to mush. And I'm gonna end up sleeping a helluva lot.
Maria, if I can't drive I might have a favor. But I'm hopeful about the driving. I could drive right now, except it is night and headlights would cause me issues. I wanna see if midmorning I am ok to drive.

Ugh, we're supposed to get severe thunderstorms overnight, possibility of tornadoes. This makes me nervous. Need to make sure we have our radio, flashlight, keys, & shoes handy in case we need to head for the basement (it's got an outside entrance) in the middle of the night.
S. is so happy. He's more of a Jets fan, but he loves the Giants, too, and he's thrilled to have a team he can really root for in the Superbowl.
