I have the soundtrack, and it includes great dialogue snippets like, "What family would want a daughter-in-law who can run around kicking football all day but can't make round chapatis?"

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Oh, I can come up with books-casts and audio and... It's just the enforced-ness of it that sucks. And really? Lying down, cats piled up, over-caffinated, eyes closed no matter how intriguing the audio materials, after 2 days? Hell, after 1? Your brain turns to mush. And I'm gonna end up sleeping a helluva lot.
Maria, if I can't drive I might have a favor. But I'm hopeful about the driving. I could drive right now, except it is night and headlights would cause me issues. I wanna see if midmorning I am ok to drive.
Dude. I want someone to make me baked oatmeal with bananas or blueberries or pumpkin. Yum.
OK, I'm headed down to DC after work to have dinner with aurelia, so if I need to swing by it's not going to be a big deal.
Football broke twitter.
Ugh, we're supposed to get severe thunderstorms overnight, possibility of tornadoes. This makes me nervous. Need to make sure we have our radio, flashlight, keys, & shoes handy in case we need to head for the basement (it's got an outside entrance) in the middle of the night.
S. is so happy. He's more of a Jets fan, but he loves the Giants, too, and he's thrilled to have a team he can really root for in the Superbowl.
OTOH, I now have absolutely no interest in this year's Superbowl. I'll watch, but it won't be the same.
I was busy trying out for the roller derby's A team tonight so I didn't catch much football. The season ends up here when the Packers lose, though.
Well, I just got back from a lovely half-weekend in Balto., wherein I got there, went to dinner with my friend and caught up on All The Things, then karaoke, late night/early am. diner, sleep, more food w/ add'l./DC friends, and then the game. So, you know, aside from the heartbreak of a stripped football and a missed field goal, it as a lovely weekend, and, though sad and a little deflated for the Ravens, was so great to be back in Balto.
