I am actually realizing through this conversation that "B" would probably not be in the running if she didn't work for the research department.
Every time I have tried to go logical, it has backfired-- my job isn't really very fun, and I am the only person and they are the only student worker. Whereas in research, the work can be more fun, and even if it is boring work, there are always 5 or 6 people working in a big room and they talk and have fun.
Phew! I'm just catching up now that I can see again. I'm glad you found Dita, Lee. Can you put her in a carrier until everything's settled down?
Lee, the cat's hiding hole that took me weeks to find was inside a swivel rocker. There was a hole in the bottom of the chair.
x-post
Dita made herself known! We are now hiding in the bathroom. I'm glad I didn't completely lose my shit because she totally did.
Oh, good! (That you found her and that you didn't lose your shit...)
I'm not sure I could get her into a carrier right now without physical damAge to one or both of us. The plan is to go help/ watch the movers unload and then come back for her. Hopefully by then she will be calmer
My mom is being a me for me. she making me make a list and DO STUFF!

That sounds good.

Also that.

Then definitely don't hire B. You can reconsider for the summer, if she doesn't get something else, anyway, right?
Glad Dita was found.
We're in the midst of a snowstorm. I would have taken the train to work today, but my line was an hour behind schedule due to a derailment, so I drove. So my boss let me go home at 1:00. The road wasn't
too
bad, but I had to drive slower. My car's traction control light on the dash was coming on a lot. Most annoying part of the drive was being stuck behind a Prius that was going 10 mph.
Go Dita-bobita.
Sophia, it really sounds like getting A on board to get you through a crisis time and then going back to the drawing board might actually be the way to go.
