That's a good plan, Lee.

That sounds good.
The plan is to go help/ watch the movers unload and then come back for her.
Also that.
I am actually realizing through this conversation that "B" would probably not be in the running if she didn't work for the research department.
Then definitely don't hire B. You can reconsider for the summer, if she doesn't get something else, anyway, right?
Glad Dita was found.
We're in the midst of a snowstorm. I would have taken the train to work today, but my line was an hour behind schedule due to a derailment, so I drove. So my boss let me go home at 1:00. The road wasn't too bad, but I had to drive slower. My car's traction control light on the dash was coming on a lot. Most annoying part of the drive was being stuck behind a Prius that was going 10 mph.
Go Dita-bobita.
Sophia, it really sounds like getting A on board to get you through a crisis time and then going back to the drawing board might actually be the way to go.
I'm so glad you found Dita, Lee!

The Obama administration said Friday that health insurance plans must cover contraceptives for women without charge, and it rejected a broad exemption sought by the Roman Catholic Church for insurance provided to employees of Catholic hospitals, colleges and charities. >[link]Well, now . . .
Anybody know when that goes into effect?
Most insurers will have to comply by Aug. 1, but the administration said it would give these nonprofit church-affiliated employers an extra year to come into compliance.
If I asked you for times you and your coworkers were available so I could set up a meeting, do you think that sending me a list of days with no times is useful information?
I'm trying to puzzle that out. But in the meanwhile I asked for them to be explicit instead of throwing proposals back and forth. It's not like setting up meetings is fun. Why must you prolong the process?

From the bottom of my devoutly Catholic (I'm coming to realize, less and less Papist with every passing minute, but still pretty fuckin' Catholic) heart, THANK YOU OBAMA ADMINISTRATION. Also, EAT IT, OUT-OF-TOUCH-WITH-THE-LAITY HIERARCHY.
Sincerely,
