It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wait, I thought Cindy Crawford was secretly Queen of the Molemen. Are you saying she's human?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wait, I thought Cindy Crawford was secretly Queen of the Molemen. Are you saying she's human?

Was this in John Hodgeman's book?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Cindy Crawford as queen of the Mole Men was from a really brilliant (like, more than usual) episode of The Tick (animated). I always suspected that Hodgman got the Molemen obsession from there.

Is this like Newt being a lizard person?

Ah ha! I listened to the audio book (with accompaniment by Jonathan Coulton) and it was brilliant. I had a student worker in my office at the time, and he loved it too, and we still joke about the molemen even though he has now graduated and has another job in my building.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oddly enough, around here, it says you live in North Carolina, but in a non-racially-specific kind of way.

That's the thing about burritos, they'll say any old shit. They're very unreliable narrators.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Damn, my supervisor is calling me in to work Sunday morning because an editor wants some proposal material done by mid-day tomorrow but couldn't be bothered to finish her edits/design requests early enough for said supervisor to approve and get them to me today. It'll only be a few hours work, however it feels like the editor in question is deliberately timing everything to result in the maximum fucking-up of my weekend. This means I can't go out of town or stay up late tonight, can't sleep in or do the 3-mile walk I'd planned tomorrow morning, will have to brown bag lunch rather than going out to Sunday brunch, and can't leave town for Memphis early enough to catch a theatre matinee.

Though at least before the boom was lowered on me I found some Fieldcrest red damask stripe sheets I'd been looking for since early spring and got assigned a hot waiter at lunch.
