"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Damn, my supervisor is calling me in to work Sunday morning because an editor wants some proposal material done by mid-day tomorrow but couldn't be bothered to finish her edits/design requests early enough for said supervisor to approve and get them to me today. It'll only be a few hours work, however it feels like the editor in question is deliberately timing everything to result in the maximum fucking-up of my weekend. This means I can't go out of town or stay up late tonight, can't sleep in or do the 3-mile walk I'd planned tomorrow morning, will have to brown bag lunch rather than going out to Sunday brunch, and can't leave town for Memphis early enough to catch a theatre matinee.

Though at least before the boom was lowered on me I found some Fieldcrest red damask stripe sheets I'd been looking for since early spring and got assigned a hot waiter at lunch.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That's the thing about burritos, they'll say any old shit. They're very unreliable narrators.

Unreliable, but very tasty!

Newt, otoh, totes a reptile.

I can't read this without my brain decoding "reptile" as "secret Jew." Apparently I read too many conspiracy theory books.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Surely Newt's an amphibian?

That is some unfortunate timing for work demands, Matt.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I got some Buffista productivity-adjacent work done, then I went out to shoot to reward myself and string-whipped my arm pretty good. I cried and wanted to come in, but kept at it and figured out what I did wrong. I deserve a cookie now, right? I am going to have a monster bruise though.

Now I'm trying to figure out how bad I will miff it up if I try to do data entry while watching football. I'd better finish the data entry, then I can do Tasker configuration while I watch the rest of the game.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

They reunite and she is awesome, because nsm in that one ep.

Man, I loved Donna in the Runaway Bride, though that could be because my all encompassing Donna love permits me to love her even when she's all self centered and shrill. I probably hated her when I first saw it too, but I can't remember. It's like my brain won't even conceive of a time when I did not love Donna. Impossible!
