SOON! I can't get a dog until I get the fence fixed, though, and I have to wait until other repairs are done before I can see if I can afford the fence too or if I have to save up for a bit.
Also, to be blunt, no dog until Perkins the cat dies, and neither of us are in any hurry for that to happen.

I get that. we have a no dogs (because we will get 2) until Oz the cat goes to kitty heaven and there is no rush there either. Meanwhile, I know someone who just found a very well-behaved, but malnourished stray Boxer and OMG I WANT!

The only reason I've managed to stave off adopting another dog is the dead cat clause.
