I've always preferred teas to coffees, and I like quite a range of teas, green, white, black, etc, but not that big on tisanes. Hibiscus and cinnamon are about it. I'm nuttier about this particular jasmine green tea that I have a bushel of than I have been any variety in a while. It's pretty much all I drink now. But not more than two cups a day (same leaves) and rarely after noon, just in case.

They're always having tisanes in Regency romances!
So true!
Teavana's Jasmine Dragon is faboo. That's pretty much the only thing I get there.
Now that it's chilly I'll be drinking tea again. I like Twinings Constant Comment, with the orange peel. A little sweetener, no milk.
I'm looking at this Shortpacked comic critiquing the sexualising of female superheroes, and I find something weird about it. In the female character's quest to say "No. That's not what I find attractive in a man." she totally feminises and makes Batman childlike. I'm not surprised the man is uncomfortable. She's making Batman look more like her. That's completely different from how badly handled Catwoman makes me feel uncomfortable.
I totally get the difference between Batman being designed as a power fantasy and Catwoman as a sexual one, but isn't Batman also attractive women? Isn't that part of a male power fantasy (in a way that doesn't translate as effectively across the genders)? I mean, the powerful male superhero is sexier than the sexy female superhero is powerful?
Okay, I've totally confused myself now. It was totally clear a few minutes ago.
Oh, *don't* read the comments. FYI. FWIW. FTR.

They have Olympic-level mansplaining in there. The only good part of the comments was the person whose comment was "Abed is Batman now."
My favorite tea is Good Earth. I swear, it tastes richer than any other tea I've tried.
but isn't Batman also attractive women?
Within the comic? Selina, Talia, etc? Or to the readers? Because (my demisexuality and Batman's fictionality notwithstanding), I don't find Batman sexually attractive. He's scary and fucked-up.
Nightwing, OTOH.... (And I know some of the comments on that Shortpacked are along the lines of, "Hey, didn't Amber basically draw Nightwing?")

I think that's probably true a lot of the time.

I think that's the problem?
