I loved X-Files but I had to fix it with fanfic.

I just got a scarf I bought from Wintercheck. I love it, it's turquoise/black check with two zippered pockets. Pockets! But it's 80 inches long. It's longer than I am tall! The length isn't mentioned on the main product page, and I just figured it was regular scarf length. I still like it, but I wish it were shorter.

This is the house. We're probably going to make an offer tomorrow after our realtor can confirm the square footage tomorrow.

It is! The zippers are on the edge, and very discreet, and the pockets are about 7x7 inches. If I put it round my neck without doubling or wrapping it, I can put my hands in the pockets, which is also pretty neat. I'm planning to take it with me to the UK next November. I think it's great, I'm just a bit flummoxed by the length.

Thanks. It's a nice one floor house with plenty of room for both laundry and a car in the garage. The basement has room for TCG's office and an extra bathroom, but there is no reason for me to ever go down there. It's older than a lot of the houses we've looked at, but it is so well maintained. I WANT it.

I have begun an X-Files rewatch. Don't know where I'll stop - I'll just play it by ear - but I know ahead of time I won't be watching all the way to the end.

I bought the complete series years ago intending to do a rewatch where I DID watch all the way to the end, for completism, since I didn't watch the last season except for the last few episodes. Haven't started, though I did find it useful when I wanted to watch Bryan Cranston's episode. Although I think they're all on Netflix Instant, so...

Yeah, I just found out that the Lea & Perrins doesn't have gluten AND has stopped using HFCS, which was why I wasn't using it in the first place.

I also (finally!) remembered that the best thing to put on my neck when it does the flare-up thing is coconut oil. All the swelling and itching is gone, and it's barely red.

Must finish last cup of coffee, then go start doing makeup for tonight's Steampunk Exhibition Ball. I get to flounce around all fancy AND judge other people's outfits! As a professional, not just as someone at the event!
