That does hit about the same level of maturity.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
How about, "The problem with me is Fuck You."
Debet, I would go into wild research-mode too. And I very sincerely hope that your mom's cancer stays out of the lymph nodes and that she kicks its ass.
I would never ask someone "What's wrong with you?" That's just ridiculously naif and rude. I can see a little kid asking that, but let me tell you, if M did that, we would have a quiet talk at home about it, and I would apologize profusely.
If I see someone in wheelchair or on crutches struggling with a door or books or such, I will offer to help. I have been graciously accepted and viciously rebuffed, but I don't mind.
I do the same for any level of ability person who has their metaphoric or literal hands full, and I understand that if someone has been dealing with an ability problem most of their life, they may be a bit snappish about "Get offa my lawn; I can handle this, stranger!"
I would never ask, unless I knew a person better or they brought it up, but yes, I would wonder. Because I am an info whore.
Guys, I didn't get my tat last night - sadface -- but I will be getting it this weekend. I didn't punk out, but the reason is a leetle embarrassing. I have work to do this afternoon, so I'm going to try to get in tomorrow and get it.
Penny is in heat. I waited too for her to get spayed, just with the 2 car repairs and Dean's vet bill I was hoping to get through January without another expense.
Now it's more expensive to spay her (my vet said $360) but there's a state program that will cover the cost if I qualify. So hopefully I'll qualify.
I did get a little lecture of "you should have gotten her spayed before she went into heat" and I know that, but I just ran into unexpected expenses.
Debet, your situation truly sucks. Period. Venting here helps, so do it. All kinds of -ma to you and your mom.
askye, that's a little pricey for a spay, unless she has complications. I would advise looking around. I think getting Cosmo spayed -- and she'd been having heat for a year or two; I was just too broke -- cost $120 at my folks' vet.
And at the perfectly capable low-cost spay and neuter clinic in KC, it's costs like $50, and I've had several friends get pets fixed there with no problems. That's ALL they do, and they're experts.
I'm getting a little money from a windfall "You have money owing you from an old deposit on utilities" thing, and we're going to get Arthur's balls chopped off. He's 8 or 9, and I think it would really help with his hyperactivity.
D's ex had some crazy idea that she would be able to breed him -- he's purebred, but not outstanding, and he doesn't even have papers! WOMAN. You know shit about dogs. He should have been fixed the second they got him.
The last time I asked someone why her dog wasn't neutered I found out his junk was cosmetic to keep up his self esteem.

Dogs don't care.
The vet's office indicated it was more expensive to get her spayed because she was in heat. I'm not sure why that makes it more expensive. She almost gave me the names of a couple places and was telling me I shouldn't say Penny is in heat. But I told her it's really obvious, there's no hiding this. That's when she gave me the info about the state program.
I found a clinic kinda near here I'll call on Monday.

Wow, that's some crackalicious anthropomorphizing.
(((Debet))) (((Debet's mom))) Not overreacting at all.
