Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yes- {{quester}}! Ugh. I really do hope it turns around so it works out for you there.
We'll hear about what the medical plan is today, and I emailed my sister to run my travel thoughts by her, and she thinks it is a great idea, and is hoping to be there at the same time. That will go a long way to alleviate the selfish suck for me and help be be able to support my folks in their sucky sitch.
Nora, glad a plan seems to be coming together. Hoping for good news for your family.
quester, that is some ridiculousness right there.
Sorry quester, that totally sucks.
Glad you're going to get to be there, Nora.
First day with car: the urge to just get up and leave is strong. I'm sure this will pass? Also, when talking about getting a parking permit, I'm shocked (SHOCKED!) to find out how many people park illegally around here.
Sweet naive amyth...

Considering your former interns and me and remember that guy in IT? You shouldn't be.
I know I know...
Oh wait that guy in IT who lived in his van? Off the grid guy?
BOUGHT TICKET! Yay. Talked to my mom, she was all "I don't want you to miss Mardi Gras!!!" EPIC EYE ROLL. I was like, lady, it will happen again next year and even if not, I THINK THIS MIGHT BE MORE IMPORTANT MAYBE???
I'm really more concerned about winter weather actually.
Anyway. I guess decent news about no MERSA (whatever that is) and no blood clots. He's comfortable and in decent spirits with two IV anti-b's. She seems a little better for the moment, but I know some of that is light of day and some of that is just basic survival instinct.
My sister's really frustrated with the medical info my mom is getting and wants to go up there and be a squeaky wheel.
Thanks for the support, it really helped me feel strong enough to get over my own personal issues about travelling up there and do what I know is best for everyone (including me.)
No MRSA is definitely good news. As is the rest. I'm sorry things have gotten so tough but I'm glad you can lean on your sister, and vv.
