I've come to whine. I've been temping at a job that is in a field I'm familiar with, and pays well. I got the chance to apply for it, but was told yesterday that I won't even get an interview.
Because at the time that I applied, I was under qualified. However, I was also told that if the job were open for applications today, I would be more qualified because I've been doing it for 6 months!
My only hope, and this is directly from the guy doing the hiring, is that they don't like anyone they interview and have to open it up again. But, they'd have to go through the whole process again.
Meanwhile, I don't know how long the temp job will last. Until they hire someone, I guess but they weren't sure how long it would take.
I desperately wanted this job! I'm beside myself with frustration, but don't think there is anything I can do.
And because it deserves its own post. I'm so sorry Nora. Healing ~ma to you're dad.
