This is the house we looked at today. We're trying to figure out if we can put a ramp-like path from the driveway to the back door so that I can avoid the stairs. There is likely room for a stackable washer and dryer in the upstairs bathroom. It's definitely overpriced, but we're considering bidding low on it and seeing what happens. I'll probably delete the link before bed.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Nora, I had to turn on the AC today. I hate not having any screens! Can't open windows or doors when it's nice outside and it gets so stuffy in here.
Yeah, I wish we had screens too, it's very annoying to not be able to let the fresh air in.
Yesterday was one degree shy of the record, so this is fairly atypical for January. However, I pretty much liken winter in New Orleans to spring in New England.
Tom is at work and I'm blogging. Man, this stuff is a lot of work.
I am going to the grocery store.
I am going to the grocery store.
I am going to the grocery store.
When I am done with this cigarette, and gone through my coupons and made a list.
Kick my ass if you see me on here in 15 minutes.
I am going to do laundry.
I am going to do laundry.
I am going to do landry.
And then I'm going to the grocery store.
I have also done dishes for 10 min, put away nail polish and makeup from last night, scooped the cat pans, and tidied a few other things.
I am going to cook. My sister gave me Kitchen of Light for Christmas, and it's the first time since the holidays that I've felt like cooking. Venison with brown goat cheese sauce and lingonberries, rutabaga with vanilla bean and rosemary. Also a green salad with shiitake vinegrette dressing, but that's not from the book.
Calli, that sounds amazeballs.
Okay, really. Getting up and walking out the door. Swears.
Kitchen of Light? Sounds interesting.
I actually made supper. Haven't done that in a while. And because I cooked all the chicken, I can cook just sides for several days. (You know, to eat with the already cook chicken.)
Trying to make my kitchen a more happy place... which to me is one that gets used.

Yum! We're all invited for dinner, right?
I am at the laundromat. And I'm hungry, so I got Cheezits and an energy bar from the machine. Now to try and catch up on my volunteer stuff, oy.

That does sound of the yum. Daniel is at work, so it's just me and the cats. I had a red leaf lettuce salad with clementine sections, cashews, and red bell pepper. Just used a bottled creamy Italian dressing, but I loved it. Then I had portobello mushroom ravioli with a tomato-basil sauce. Finished up with a pear that I sliced up and shoved in the microwave with a handful of blueberries, brown sugar, cinnamon and a pat of butter. I felt feast-y for lunch.
And now, I shall have some restaurant leftovers for supper.
