Congrats, Stephanie! My BFF's second kid fell out. I kid you not. She was in labor, was walking like they tell you to, paused for a second and BAM! Kid slid out and hit the floor.
When one of my friends was having her third kid, her plan was that she'd call one of her friends when she went into labor, and that friend would call the rest of us, and we'd all go to the birthing center and bring wine and cheese and crackers and have a birthing party. (Which we all thought was kind of nuts, but figured that, since she'd had two kids already, she knew what she was getting into and how she wanted it.) The whole birthing party idea never happened, though, because her labor lasted about ten minutes, and she didn't have time to call the first friend until after the baby was born.
Thanks, everyone. In my case, I think all the labor in the weeks before the actual labor made it go fast. I did only push for 30 minutes with Ellie and 9 (I think) with Frisco. I'm not having any more kids, I don't think, but if I did, I would be worried about it being super fast.
smonster, i loved the picture on FB and i'm glad to hear you guys had so much fun.
Billytea, I love that part too.
Congratulations, Stephanie. That is some seriously fast baby-having!
Congratulations, Stephanie!
Woo, Stephanie, I'm glad the labor was so quick!

Dear house sellers,
If you really want to sell, it would probably be in your best interest to see to it that someone shovels a path to the door, so that if people want to look at the house they can actually get in.
No love,
Me
We saw one split entry that we sort of liked but I just don't know.
Thanks, y'all!
Nora, I had to turn on the AC today. I hate not having any screens! Can't open windows or doors when it's nice outside and it gets so stuffy in here.
Gronk. I took a nap, since I didn't get much sleep this weekend, and now somehow I am groggy and yet having an anxiety attack. Need to go do laundry and hit the grocery store and all that good stuff. Ready... set... meh.
Nora, I had to turn on the AC today.
It is 19 degrees here and we got 6 inches of snow yesterday. I'm trying not to be bitter.
I've been in NO in January when there were frost warnings. You never can tell.
