Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, I could google, but what is green oil?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{GC}}} Good luck deciding what to do about ADs and sleep meds. I agree with what everyone else said, you definitely need to make sleeping a priority one way or another. I'm also thinking I need to go back on my ADs, which I'm torn about because I'm still trying to get pregnant, but I'm really starting to feel like it is necessary.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Charlie Brown Christmas is on TV! And my neck and shoulders are hurting like hell, so I took some Vicodin and I'm using a heating pad.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I watched it too! Still wonderful.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's what happens when you don't have a night shift anymore.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Where is our night shift? We need our night shift.

I mean, I realize I'm in the eastern time zone right now, and I'm older and don't stay up until 3 even when I'm back home. But I miss all our internationalistas.

We also used to have more east coast early risers, I feel...maybe just because when I was east coast they were posting before me. ;)

Are we also less talky in general? I feel like I'm more talky because of the phone, but people are less talky overall. But that might just be because I have more frequent access.
