Okay, our ex-developer makes me laugh. He seriously expects me to keep track of his queries and what exactly they do--I'm just grateful it's a programmer writing them and not me. But he's come back to defend the virtue of his replacement and push back on the requirements and he's just so politely frustrated that it cracks me up.
I'll fight for the developers--I figure that's part of my job whether I'm a business analyst, project manager, or personnel manager. Someone needs to look out for them. But you do have to walk me through some of the minutiae, because I'm seriously not keeping track.
