"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

tommyrot,

I suspect you might be correct, but I am hoping that the US can come back from this. I don't want to hide under my bed for the next 10 years.

Thrive to spite them

Toddson my Grandma and it went extremely well. She went from having to wear her glasses all the time to not needing them. Or just needing reading glasses for small print (I can't remember).

New Thundercats? When?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Tonight, Cartoon Network. 8PM for me, but you may have already missed it. I would suspect they'll rerun it.

Hmm, well I switch between Firefox and Chrome usually, but just for grins I downloaded Opera on the basis of this convo. It is much faster. I don't know why. Mostly I'm just enjoying the speed. It is kind of different, but I will adapt for speed.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Somebody tell me if the new Thundercats cartoon will defile my cherished, not-exactly-childhood memories of the original.

The original was pretty bad, but my BF at the time and I created a vast intricate *adult* universe around it, so I'm fond of those memories.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I remember loving Thundercats, but I was pretty young at the time, so I don't really remember anything other than the theme song and what a few characters looked like.

Noodle has gone missing in the house. Took both cats to the vet today and she came home with an Elizabethan collar thanks to a spot she has been scratching. While we were at karate, she escaped the collar and has found a GOOD hiding place. Meanwhile, Miss Kitty has lost 2 lbs in the last couple of years, so she is down to 12.

Come out, little Noodle, come out.

Grrr, the next ep is on August 5, and is listed as episode 3, and is only being shown once, so they apparently are not rerunning it. Way to advertise Toon Disney! I actually watch a lot of animated stuff (i.e. the GI Joe reboot, which probably has the same core adult audience), so I'm surprised I had not a whiff of this.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I honestly only saw something about it as a commercial in a movie theater, and then saw an article about it this morning.
