My doctor actually announced a diagnosis of diabetes as good news. She said, given you eyesight symptoms, another possibility could have been MS.
At least it wasn't the funny syphilis.
Much ~ma to you and your DH, Maria.
le nubian, sorry for the scary diagnosis. I'm glad there are so many around you who can help steer you right.
Trying to discuss politics these days, I lose all my words and degenerate into teeth-gnashing and screeching. It's best I don't engage the subject. Seriously, I can't take the outrage overload anymore.
Man, the alarms went off and I turned on the radio and eventually a dj broke into the program to say that funnel clouds have been sighted . . . but it's bright and sunny. Possibly we are seeing history being made.
Oh no! Sending much ~ma to Maria and her husband, and le n! I hope there are good outcomes all around.
I may force my husband to watch the new Thundercats cartoon tonight.
Rather than stew over the job situation or the totally frelled up political situation, I am going to go watch coal miners in 1980s England dance ballet.
IOW, we got tickets to Billy Elliott. Woot. Now off to don a polka-dot dress, cause how often can I justify wearing a polka-dot dress?
tommyrot,
I suspect you might be correct, but I am hoping that the US can come back from this. I don't want to hide under my bed for the next 10 years.
