My trip was flipping awesome! Best vacation ever!!!! We just ordered a new computer so we can deal efficiently with all the photos. (something we have needed to do for a long time)
Missed youz! Ive been lurking but work has gotten in the way of much posting.
Not paying COBRA, paying for my own insurance privately. That IS my budget killer and a job with benefits would change everything. I really like the part-time job I have now, but I just don't think it will evolve into anything full-time.

I can't imagine paying for private insurance, msbelle. I can imagine that's a total budget-killer.
Managing a donation drive is hard. Hats off to all of you who do this. We had to put together a list of people from 4 different spheres to contact for three different people, using 4 different methods of payment (cash, IOU, check and paypal.) And 4 of us are doing collections, so I've set up a google doc to share so we can track it all (esp for me, since I'm doing the paypal.)

In non-sense-making news, talk of budgets and spending less money has led to me to window shop for clothes online.
I may need to soother myself with another creamsicle.
