"Rolling in the Deep" was *everywhere* for a while, and as awesome as it is, I got a little tired of it.
I don't really listen to the radio, so I didn't get supersaturated. Here you go, ita - here's the song and video, if you're in the mood. [link]

I still have no idea who you are all talking about.
I first saw Adele on Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Half of what I know about popular music, especially British popular music, is because of people who are either on Buzzcocks or made fun of on Buzzcocks.
My favorite is "Rumor Has It"
But this is the superpower that means I've only heard one Bieber song, so I'm pretty okay with it.
I don't think I've even heard one.
But I bought one of his nail polishes. It's sparkly and purple and I don't even feel much shame about it any longer. Wearing that, I can outsparkle a dewy, virgin vampire.

So it looks like we got at least 7 inches of rain in an hour and 45 minutes this morning. Here's a slide show of the flooding [link] I stopped complaining about a few inches of water in my car after I saw the pictures from the Westbank. Saturday was CJ's big ARP picnic for the team members, family, and friends. About an hour into it they got a call from a local fire department for the swift water team. Due to all the storms lately, the fire department was clearing trees over what is normally a puny river. But, again due to the storms, kayakers were out in droves. They needed the ARP team to turn back the kayakers when they got near to the tree cutting zone.
In cat news, both Miss Kitty and Noodle snuggled me for an afternoon nap. And now that I'm tucked in bed early, I have Miss Kitty beside me and Noodle playing down by my feet. I'm tired, so I hope she will get the clue that play time is over.
Good and bad rescue related news out of Chicago today. Two people died in the annual race to Mackinac Island, the first time in over a hundred years of the race. A crazy storm hit and a lot of the boats were really ripped apart I gather.
In happier news, this [link] went down outside my office today.
In the last half hour I have said to my cat " you are a cat" I am somewhat easily influenced by the media and cat conjunction. So far I have not said " you are a Matt" to my DH , but it could happen
