Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just drank half a Coke. I hope I don't pay a price.

I'm currently in a meeting extolling the virtues of the virtual team by someone on my team that works from home 100%. How I wish my boss were listening. I think I work well from home, dammit.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, has this been posted at goodstuff? It's old, so I don't remember.

I don't know, but I will totally post that!

That Oatmeal piece is a lie. Bloody Mary Mix (not a Bloody Mary) is magical skyjuice.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My husband always gets tomato juice on a plane. The smell makes me oogy.

Thanks for catching the reference, Hec. I took a whole Percoset. Now I'm headed to PT.

Still very confused and feeling like shit over the A, B, C, D thing.

Coding and Sleeping

It's been a very, very long time since I've been on a plane. I suspect I had a Coke though.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I avoid Coke or anything else caffeinated on planes. I want to stay relaxed.

I tend to go with OJ.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I prefer hot drinks on planes, but not ones with caffeine. Which means I usually need to bring my own.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm working from home right now (AIFG). While I usually work from home on Wednesdays, they're doing office reno in my area right now, so I was able to come home at noon yesterday, and I'll probably be able to stretch it out through tomorrow. I've gotten a ton of work done, as well as a bunch of background housework (running the dishwasher, putting the shower curtain liner through the washing machine, etc.). Not that the latter's a selling point for my bosses, but it makes my life easier.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Anyone that thinks red and black are a bad mix are probably suggesting colour combinations that are not an expansion of my style, but more likely just not my style.

stands with ita

I cannot wrap my head around the idea that black and red are a bad color combination.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Just got back from my restocking trip to the grocery store. $115--ouch! But, I now have things in my freezer that will last me several weeks, which is good. I decided to toss those sausages on the recommendation of the butcher; he said I could try and risk it, but if it were him, he'd pitch them, so I did.

Now I must do some work for a few hours, at least. I'll be working from home again tomorrow if the power isn't up by then.
