You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

this ridiculously racist Colonial themed wedding in S Africa

Oh noooooooo.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

> That's entirely my hangup with seeing it. Although it's probably less than 1/3 of the movie, I just am tired of my entertainment dollars going in that direction.

Don't see it. I so regret that I paid to see it. Hell, I nixed Transformers because I won't give Michael Bay my money. And saw Horrible Bosses instead because I didn't have a clue it was full of creepy rape jokes.

I just saw her comment on this ridiculously racist Colonial themed wedding in S Africa

Whoa. Those pictures went from "pretty tables" to "whoooooooa, that is not okay!" pretty fast. Not okay.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ita,

io9 and jezebel are sister sites. so that might be why the person has shown up at the wedding site (featured on jezebel) and io9.

Because books.

Jezebel continues to annoy me. Ever since the redesign, half of their pictures or videos don't show up for me, and the ones that do are all sized wrong or something (aspect ratio? I have no clue).

I miss the old layout. Still.

Thrive to spite them

Amy, have you tried switching to Blog View so it goes back to the old layout? Or does it still cause problems when you do that?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Can you imagine if one of them had been Asian? It would have ruined the special day!

Or any of their friends or family! Heaven forfend.

msbelle-not homedespot or lowes'... That's the extent of my design skills.

Because books.

I have, askye. It's still all wonky. I just care less lately, which isn't really a smart business plan for them. I haven't been there in days unless someone links.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, man -- I got a call last week from someone I did some freelance work for, asking if I could do some more, and the money got to me. I already regret it! I feel like working so little when I'm at the office, I really don't feel like working now! Oh well. Maybe it will help motivate me to do more at work?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

that might be why the person has shown up at the wedding site (featured on jezebel) and io9

Was it? I hadn't even realised. Still, she pops up in links from LJ, and it scares me. My world is converging, and I can't breathe.

Or any of their friends or family!

Somehow I think that's really unlikely.

I think it's sweet that anyone can be that sheltered and privileged (destination and themed weddings in South Africa can't come cheap) in today's world. That, I hope, takes some accomplishing.

Part of me wants to feel bad that their wedding photo blog got crashed with strangers slamming them, but FUCK. They have mock slaves at their wedding. Sudden attack of perspective.

Hmm. I think I need to order a Captain America T-shirt for the movie viewing. I hope it will get here in time.
