Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Oh, CJ's search today was for a person who disappeared 3 weeks ago and had potentially committed suicide. They worked with the local police for about 4 hours (with no sight of the person). Then the officers bought them pizza.

Our wings are not tired.

CJ's search and rescue stuff is intense. That's an awesome program and I am really glad he's involved.

Art Crawl!!!

I love nuts in brownies!

And what javachik said. Suzi, is this the sort of thing that CJ wants to do in a more full-time basis, eventually?

Ooh, mole. I'm going climbing with friends tonight and if we go out afterwards, I'm hoping for the Mexican place with the killer chicken mole. NOM.

No nuts in food. Nuts on their own are fine, but don't put them in cookies, brownies, or cake.

He has always wanted to be a fireman. With ARP, he is getting to explore He is loving it so far, though he is tired. Not much makes him tired, so this is good.

We have quite a thunderstorm going on. So far we don't have rain, but the thunderclaps have been continuous for the last 15 minutes. It is amazing.

Huh, apparently Utah is in its monsoon season. I never thought of us as being the kind of place that gets monsoons, as high humidity to us is 30-40% and there's a lack of rain forests nearby.

But it is the season of tropical moisture migrating our way and the extreme afternoon thunderstorem.

Yowza. That thunderstorm I mentioned? The rain swept in so fast - it is absolutely bucketing now. And the big trees outside my patio were bending with the wind. I have never seen them bend like that before. My, my, my.
