I'd say wheelchair ramp.

Sparky, you sound extremely stressed. UGH.

Noah and Grace are playing with play-doh at their table. I need to move the crib out and we were going to give it to a friend, except now drop side cribs are verboten. So maybe not?

I also have to program the next 5 levels of Grace's AAC device and write a proposal for a presentation on multi-genre writing and fill out Medi-Cal forms. AND take medical clearance/feeding protocol forms to Grace's doctor. And call the DME place, and the OT and and and and....

What I really want to do? Go swimming and go to yoga.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yay--I just scheduled my massage and pedicure for Friday afternoon. I'm soooo glad my company is giving us a four-day weekend!!

I've been very productive at home. All of my living room and dining room are picked up and dusted, and all of the books, dvds, and cds have been reorganized and went through a very minor purge in those two rooms. I'll be home by 5:00 tonight, when I will vacumn the entire apartment (moving all of my furniture to vacumn underneath), clean out my hallway closets and under the kitchen sink so that I can reorganize my tools (currently scattered in at least three different locations), hang up some stuff on the walls, and possibly get started on cleaning the bedroom. Tomorrow night, after my swim, will be spent finishing the bedroom, and then Thursday night will be making my bathroom immaculate, including scrubbing the tile walls in the shower. Goodwill donations will be dropped off on Friday, and then my apartment will be gorgeous!

I know I won't be cleaning on this scale again before fall, but at least it'll be done for the quarter.

Also on Friday, I'm going to go shopping for the dress for my brother's wedding. I was going to wait until August, but it looks like the stores are already filling up with fall clothes, so I'd better go now.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Morning. ::yawn::

I gotta put down the keyboard and clean today, as we are having overnight houseguests tomorrow. Strangely enough, they are people from OTHER PARTS OF THE INTERNET.

Guys, it's true: they exist. And some of them are nice and smart, even!

But I gotta clean the bathroom and dust and stuff...

Me too. Let's run away. The kids will be fine.

I am totally stressed out right now. Fortunately, all the people in my department are animal lovers, so they don't fault me for coming in late and leaving early, but I hate doing it because I'm the supervisor.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Most drop-side cribs can be configured to not drop. (We accepted a hand-me-down drop-side crib for Aeryn because the alternative was spending money we didn't have. So there's also that.)

And Jesse has met them.

I need a doppelganger.

What it was an Evil!Sparky who gave everybody a Needs Improvement on their review, grilled the candidate mercilessly, and tracks down and slaps everybody who called on the Sass phone with false leads and mean prank calls?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat, I'm so sorry it took me so long to give it to him. If it's any consolation, I think now was possibly the best time for him to receive it, she says sheepishly.

You know when you've got an important but very technical thing to communicate to a client, and your sales and marketing types are all "Help us understand this highly technical piece of information! And then make the information exciting! Make it sparkle!"

Yeah, I don't know how to make it SPARKLE, people. You keep telling me to make it shiny, but nobody's giving me any solid feedback on how to make boring and technical shit unicorns and rainbows!

Tom, at this point I totally would draw an interpretive ppt slide in glitter pen if I had any idea how to format and present this information.
