Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wait a minute...there are OTHER people???

Inorite??

In other news, I was listening to the NPR pop culture podcast on my way to work this morning, and remembered why I usually listen to it over the weekend, because it regularly makes me laugh out loud, and I think I seem like less of a crazy person laughing to myself on the weekend? Anyway, it was the self-described gayest episode ever, and at one point when Bob Mondello was a special guest, they joked about kicking the one straight guy out of the room and bringing in Ari Shapiro, so they could have all the NPR gays in one place. Which I thought was funny.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have never seen any people who were not buffistas. They are just figments of my imagination.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Kat, you around? I finally gave him the candle you made for him, and he was very pleased and touched by it. Cheered, even.

Which candle? The one from my 34th birthday 5 years ago? What did it say on it?

So, Michael was supposed to go to Los Alamos today. Unfortunately they are on fire, so they cancelled. And they just had a huge fire in 2000.

Sounds like my BIL won't be heading down there any time soon for work. I tease him that some day, he'll come home glowing green.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The one from my 34th birthday 5 years ago? What did it say on it?

Oh, god, I'm that bad? The number of times he's been in my apartment and I didn't even think of it...

You deemed him the Saint of Chapeau, if memory serves. He liked it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Had my second interview for the other parttime job today. I really want it, they just seem so much more stable and cooperative, plus 20 minutes closer.

Regardless, I think I am giving notice at the current place today, I just cannot manage it.

Mac is at the grandparents' today, he did not want to go to camp at all. This is a one time thing though, they cannot manage him for multiple days.

3 more nights of vbs and then I will have my evenings back which will be good.

Sophia, could you just use ramp without a modifier?

My DH started his job in NY today, and I got a call on the Sass phone that needs to be checked out tonight if possible and a request for another TV interview for after work today. My nanny can only stay until 5:30 and K is in a phase where she screams if strangers come near her (esp that time of day).

Also, we are interviewing a candidate here at for for a position, and the annual reviews I write for my department were due, um, last Friday.

I need a doppelganger.
