I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Howdy!

Trying to work up the oomph to bike 8 mi to the LA Arboretum. CA Rare Fruit Growers chapter nearest me is having their bimonthly meeting. The distance is one thing but far more concerning is that instead of following Huntington Dr., which I know, Google Bike Maps is suggesting presumably safer routes but they're less direct. Lots of twists and turns. Which I don't trust myself with unless I've got a really good paper map and loads of time to get lost.

I figured I was up too late to wake up early to go but then my body woke me up anyway. The back of my throat was sticking together because I was so dry from the lack of humidity in the house.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Manic Panic it is then. I like the idea of bringing her and letting her choose. It's just so funny to me that she wants to color her hair.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I slept horribly last night. I was in bed by 10:30, but didn't go to sleep until way after 3:00 am. I don't know what I did to my left shoulder last night, but it was killing me when I tried to sleep, so I pulled out my heating pad, set it on high, and slapped it there. This morning--much better!

Mom came in about 9:00 and asked if I was going to sleep all morning but I was already awake. I'll probably be napping later on, though. It's all snowy out, and napping on snowy afternoons is the best thing about the winter, IMO.

We're going to venture out for some brief exercise, a walk over to my apartment manager's building to drop off the rent check and pick up a few packages. Also today, we're going to go through the food cabinets and weed out the stuff I'm no longer going to be eating. When Dad comes up tomorrow, I'll see what I can pawn off on him, and then donate what I can and toss the rest.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad you're doing so well, Kathy, even with the bad sleep.

Now I kind of want to get some Manic Panic for my stubble. I think that would be fun.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

DO IT, Perkins!

Kathy, I'm not surprised you had trouble sleeping. Your body just went through a trauma, and you are going through a major physical and emotional event; even though it is POSITIVE, it's still a lot of change.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Olivia wanted every color in the rainbow! I told her we'd pick another color when this one washes out.

Kathy, I hope you can nap comfortably and I'm glad you're doing so well!

Today is another round of try outs for the roller derby team. We need to add at least another five skaters to the roster so I'm excited to see who's coming out.

Okay, one more errand added to the list!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Woot! I totally support this colourful plan, Perkins.

Because, ah, you needed my okay.
