Today is another round of try outs for the roller derby team. We need to add at least another five skaters to the roster so I'm excited to see who's coming out.

I am at work today (not fun) but I am consoling myself with the thought that at least I am not one of these suckers - er, students studying for exams!
I am large with the satsuma love since moving here.
Also, there's a new Ethiopian place in New Orleans, which is supposed to be pretty good. This was a Big Deal because New Orleans doesn't have too much by way of decent ethnic cuisine (except Vietnamese, natch).
Anyway, y'all are making me want to try it. If I ever get out of bed. Which seems unlikely given how horrendously hungover Tom and I are.
I should be cleaning. I am not.
I forgot to go to a number-of-carollers world record attempt around the corner from me at noon. Oops. Still on the sofa.
I don't like Ethiopian. Which is strange, because I'm on board with almost any other kind of cuisine. But the bread is too sour for me, and the rest of the food doesn't excite me.
