brillig

I'm watching Buckaroo Banzai AIFG. It's still snowing, which is not.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Or, your hotel is very close to greektown -I'm sure we could find something there.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I haven't seen any of the movies (or Twin Peaks, really), but that is not my take at all.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

What time would you be thinking, brenda? In the duration, the SO has come up with a dinner invite for us to the crazy hippie commune up on Wilson. I'm still waffling on that one, depending on how transportation shakes out.

So if you wanted to go early, we could do drinks?

That sounds perfect, Liese. Maybe at 5ish?

Always Anti-fascist!

Man, Jesse, that probably means I won't like them either...I have one of the movies buried in my Netflix queue though. Suddenly disappointed they never made Right as Rain into a movie, even though SLJ still doesn't match "my" Derek Strange.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, looks like my hippie friends thing is the same time. I just saw them, so we'd rather see you.

Let's say dinner at the Gage at 5? That'll give us time to check out the Art Institute, and we can see if our buddies want to hang later.

I'm going offline more or less now, so texting{redacted} is probably easiest now. Yays!

I don't know, erika. People really like them! And maybe I've liked the previous two more, since obviously I liked them enough to keep reading. Maybe I'm just not in the mood right now. I should read some Reacher for a palate cleanser.

Also, in re brenda and Liese, I love us.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oy. I was planning to get an early start with driving home today. Instead, I woke up, ate a bagel, and then fell asleep again until almost 1 PM. I guess my new plan is eat lunch with my family, then drive home.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Since many of the Buffistas have more shopping-fu than I do, does anyone here know where the best place to look for Pendletons (lined flannel shirts...doesn't have to be that brand) on sale would be?
