Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I can's have candles at work

Just a thought, Target (and many other places, now) sells wax "candles" with flickering LED lights in them, that run on batteries. I have about seven of them, because I like candlelight and worry that my cats are dumb. They look like real candles. The larger ones run on AAA batteries and the votives run on the little button batteries. Some of them even have timers, so your candles can mysteriously light up by themselves.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, for those of you with GPS in your car, what brand do you have? Do you like it?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I've had my Garmin nüvi 260W for almost two years now, and I still like it a lot. I loaded it up with city maps for Amsterdam, Oslo, London, and Paris for my trip this summer, and it worked out really well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, bon, your phone has fierce battery life. I could use it for an hour long call and leave it off the cradle 24 hours and it was still rearing to go. Definitely better than what I've become used to. But I need speaker phone.

Maybe tomorrow's onery will be to brave Fry's for a phone with what I need, but with this kind of battery life.

hmpf. My new Blackberry is supposed to have 3 days of standby battery power, but the battery doesn't even last me one day. I have yet to find a cellphone that doesn't lose battery power three times as fast as it's supposed to.

Allyson, at Once Upon a Time?

My horn is growing. I do think I am a unicorn. This sucks.

Watch: [link] Sorry for the crazy washed out first 4 seconds. But ohmigod. She's walking. Outside. On her ownish. Holy shit.

Also, we've learned that all of those irritating noise making toys that we thought she liked because they light up (and for her it's randomly). Um. She knows her letters. And her shapes. There's a person in there. If only she could communicate out better.

I spent the evening in Urgent Care with Noah. A little kid stole his cheese and then hit me. I looked around and said, "Um. Could whoever belongs to this kid control him?" And my forehead hurts.

And what's with all the carrots?

Love my Garmin..I just wish it would automatically figure out when I am downtown Spokane I do not need directions for the seafood place to begin in Omaha!

My body clock has finally adjusted to west coast time, which means I fly back home tomorrow. 4 a.m. alarm. Need I say more?
