Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I ate really good curry nommies for lunch.

OK people, tell me good stuff that happened to you. Even if it's just that you ate really good curry for lunch.

I must have dropped my wallet in the parking lot of the grocery store after work. But someone picked it up and turned it in to customer service who paged me before I was even aware it was gone. Seriously, I was in the store for less than 5 minutes.

ETA: I have to say, this one little act was a huge antidote to the mood that having to deal with my jackass boss boss had put me in.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hmm. good stuff--DH comes back from his business trip tonight. I weighed myself this morning and have lost 20lbs. I discovered the AWESOME foot massage place on the way home from work, which gives and hour-long foot/back massage for $25 and am going tomorrow.

I also had a genius idea today...Use magnets to attach my draft stopper to my front door! Then my co-worker gave me a few rare earth magnets to use, which I carried home in my bra, because I was paranoid about demagnetizing all my cards with them.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Then my co-worker gave me a few rare earth magnets to use, which I carried home in my bra, because I was paranoid about demagnetizing all my cards with them.

But your boobs might have been demagnetized!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Good things: My Tivo managed to call in successfully and download data.

Erm. I have a job with sick leave so I can take today off and get paid for sitting on my couch and watching The Good Wife.

I get to re-apply for my current job this week.

Someone said something very nice about my writing, and it wasn't anyone I knew.

Oh, and Barb, if you're around: My niece liked Stars!

My boobs are of a mass that those little magnets, as strong as they are would have no effect.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica
