Jayne, your mouth is talking. You might wanna look to that.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Doesn't hurt to look, Jessica!

Good luck on your drive, aurelia--be careful out there!

It's sunny again today. They've done a good job of cleaning off our sidewalks and parking lot here at the apartment complex, so when Dad comes up and we head out to the movies, I'm going to drive. (Oh, and my seatbelt is already looser than it was!) The only movie playing near me that I can imagine he might like is Unstoppable.

I'm wearing my smaller pants right now, and ITFG!!! They're still a tad snug, but totally wearable. They'll fit perfectly by next week. I tried on a new shirt I'd deliberately ordered last month in a smaller size, but that'll have to wait until mid-January, I think. I can put it on, but it's skin tight across the belly.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Great news on the pants Kathy. Are you on an exercise regime to deal with the weight loss?

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

It was, like, almost 80 yesterday. Which is bizarre, in a completely opposite way from -18, in that you could almost enjoy it, but still, strange and unsettling for having carol commercials on television and all that. Next week it should be 62...which is closer to normal. We do have winter. Or at least "winter" and I want to have it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jilli! Promote Good Stuff!

Man, I found a video that looks cute, but it has a minute of advertising leading off, and the content is barely that long. Ah, hell, I'ma do it anyway.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It was, like, almost 80 yesterday.

I have a friend in Tucson that keeps posting the temperatures and sunny pictures on Facebook. Apparently he has a death wish.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I remembered over the weekend why I'm grateful for the cold -- it was like 50 degrees on Saturday and I was all, "So warm! You barely need a coat!"

hip deep in pie

It was 11C (50-ish) here yesterday, which is very warm for this time of year.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We had one of our warmest Novembers on record. Then suddenly it got really cold. Like, single-digits when I leave for work. The start of December has been one of the coldest in decades.

I think the suddenness of the transition has made the cold seem worse.

To me, that's more creepy than beautiful, coming this early. It's nice in February and March...I wouldn't want it to be a hundred and thirty to make up for blowing past "Winter". Not worth it. So I'm glad things will level off soon.

Honey love muffin, that's Stockholm Syndrome, and it's a bad thing.

It was 80 here a couple days ago. Now it's grey and rainy. Poutface.
