I remembered over the weekend why I'm grateful for the cold -- it was like 50 degrees on Saturday and I was all, "So warm! You barely need a coat!"
Honey love muffin, that's Stockholm Syndrome, and it's a bad thing.
It was 80 here a couple days ago. Now it's grey and rainy. Poutface.
ION, the construction in our building continues. Not quite as much jackhammering today, but I just noticed a shit smell. So I went to the part of the building where they're doing the construction, and I smelled sewage from where they ripped up the floor of a bathroom.
I hope the sewage smell doesn't last all day....
So, the primary reason I didn't stay home today was that I was supposed to have a meeting with my boss and my boss boss. My boss just left for a meeting that goes until 3, and my boss boss rarely stays later than 3, so I don't think the GD meeting is going to happen. I could be sleeping.
Crawling under my desk and napping is looking pretty good right now.
Heh. Somebody on a baseball thread just pointed out that the new rotation for the Phillies (Roy Oswalt, Cliff Lee and Roy Halladay) will lead to an inevitable headline should they sweep the Rangers in interleague play:
Lee Halladay Oswalt Kill in Dallas
Too much food.
And now electrical problems in the office next door.

Are these related? Are you charging your iPad on a potato?
I AM SO CRANKY AT EVERY SINGLE THING RIGHT NOW! I just thought someone should know so that when I go on a homicidal rampage, you can all say, "We had no idea. She seemed so quiet, kept to herself. There was really no warning" for the cameras.
Lee Halladay Oswalt Kill in Dallas
Ouch.
And the A's have Godzilla. Let's hope he still has it.
Working from home today and feeling like a total lazy bum. In addition to working, I also need to get Kelly's room spiffed up. It has become the "dump-it" room since August.
Another outlet melted down, and it turns out half our office shares a circuit with it. There's some seriously weird wiring going on.
