I've been way too close to six or seven tornadoes, including the one I watched touch down as I was standing by my stalled car waiting for a wrecker. The hair thing could explain a lot.

Allyson, maybe not for the release, but have you thought of maybe contacting any local zoos that have a bat exhibit to maybe do readings on weekend day? We talked to some people, non-zoo people outside the world of darkness building at Bronx Zoo on one visit. They were doing some information demos like every hour or somesuch.

I have this bizarro stabbing pain that feels like the stuff between my scalp and my skull is clenching up sorta just above my nape on one side. It is distracting, and OW. I never know when it'll hit (it doesn't last long) so I'm kinda cringy in dread anticipation.

Oh man, was just looking at the tv guide, and I think the Grey's Anatomy season closer eps are on tonight, with the shooting....sure enough. Man, talk about BAD timing. Eesh. I'm actually surprised they didn't preempt it for this market.

You know what's weird? By the time I'd heard the news today, lisah's friend was accounted for and safe and it all seemed at a distance, but even though I missed most of those eps of GA, I don't want to watch them now. Really don't want. Sorta like when I heard they were talking about making a movie or docu about the bowling alley massacre that occurred in my hometown when I was in high school, I just wanted to never see it (claimed a longtime schoolmate's two cousins, and she and her twin were there as well, and was basically the worst crime scene my town had known since the wild west days.) Just...no.
