Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

There may have been an extension planned at some point that never happened.

One of the streets shown on the map goes right through the schoolyard of an elementary school. The school isn't on the map at all. Judging by the architecture of the school, I'd say it was built in the thirties. The other one is just going through the parking lot of a bank, which, while I guess you can drive it, it's not really a street.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Random question - how does cat hair get on the ceiling fan?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Someone wanted to rip it down?

Because books.

That happened to me once in my boss's new car. This had to be ... in 2000 or so maybe? The GPS lady wanted us to turn off the 59th St. Bridge into the river in the worst way.

Then the driver fell asleep in traffic, and crushed the hood of the fancy new Audi, which has nothing to do with the GPS, but was startling all the same.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Creepy good Denzel impersonation. I swear, it even makes him look more attractive.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Bah. You're just leaning. It's a whole different vibe.

No. I'm looming, I swear.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday, Liese!

In happy me news, my Zoya order arrived. Someone is painting her nails tonight! I love all the colors, I just wish I had ordered the olive green one too, but oh well. Live and learn. I decided to err on the side of duochromes instead, on the logic that I can buy a decent looking creme at the store, but I can't seem to find a duochrome that I like as much as the Zoya and Nubar ones.

I also feel a bit of anticipatory guilt about the polish box.
