I like anchovies in small amounts.
I dislike all fruits of the nightshade family, so I assume they have something in common, but eggplant is the worst. Love potatoes, though.

For the longest time, I have assumed that eggplant has some kind of enzyme or other that is alien to my system. Total rejection response from every part of my body if a piece accidentally wanders into my mouth.
This is exactly how I feel about onions.

Eggplant pasta salad is a success. I added pine nuts, tomato, crumbled bacon, and capers.
I was unsure of eggplant, but it came in my CSA so I figured I should give it a fair shake. Would make this recipe again, om nom nom.
