A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Art Crawl!!!

I think we may need more evidence to see if Alan Cumming is eligible for the Silver Fox collection.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That baby names map is interesting, but I thought there'd be more variation across regions.

Kristin, I hope you and Drew get some good news from the hospital today!

In kidism news, Dylan told me yesterday during bathtime that using the potty made his penis sad. I said he should talk to his Dad about that.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Given that my name doesn't show up at all in either Quebec or Louisiana, but the Spanish version shows up in Quebec, I'm finding the whole thing suspect.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just got an email from my mother telling me that my father was admitted to the hospital last night with an irregular heartbeat. I need this tech to be over so I can call. I also need my parents to start calling me when things like this happen.

Ugh, Aurelia. I hope that he's okay.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I need to find out where CH gets her foundation garments.

If you find out, let me know!

I want to know if she's really managed to stay that pale, or if she's wearing some sort of body paint.

She looks fantastic, despite the extra-orange-ness of the hair. I like that style on her; I may try to copy it.

dcp, Amsterdam! Envy.

~ma to Aurelia's dad!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Yikes, Aurelia! I hope it's just a minor thing and he's okay now.

In kidism news, Dylan told me yesterday during bathtime that using the potty made his penis sad.

Ahahahahaha!!!!

I said he should talk to his Dad about that.

Well done.

hip deep in pie

I hope your dad is doing okay Aurelia, and that it's a minor thing.

Sigh. I have to start getting ready for this wedding. It's over 2 hours away. You'd think I was the bride.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, house setup is expensive. We are still paying on about 9000 of credit card debt. But it wasn`t all stuff that goes in the house, a lot of it was the house itself. We thought we were going to get more in our mortgage, so this was build stuff we put on the card during construction, expecting to get repaid from the construction loan draws. But then after the appraisal, the bank approved a slightly lower percentage of the whole than we thought. This was ok, and actually good, because it meant we were able to take a conventional loan and we were not required to get mortgage insurance. But it meant we ended up with a lot of credit card debt when we don`t use credit cards anymore. The SO successfully negotiated a lower rate and payoff plan, though, otherwise it`d be killing us.

It`s kinda crazy, though, when you think about the current climate, we would never be able to get a loan at all today, being self-employed the way we are and not making a ton. So I am okay with the debt because I feel very fortunate to be in this amazing house. And we`re paying it off! Second jobs and the whole bit, but we`re paying it off.
