You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am astounded to learn that Fresno has multiple cupcake shops

Clearly, the people in Fresno read the article Amy linked to earlier.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Amy's article is the source of my Fresno cupcake shop knowledge. To be clear.

To continue commenting on the links I opened in new tabs and look at only after reading to the end of the thread (now with more context):

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She's younger than me, right? So I started it first?

I'm sure you did. (There, there....)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's not a pencil, but it's tactical.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm sure you did.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I hate it when we do something huge-like say move up a release- to make up for another department's poor planning.

I feel like other people's jobs should have consequences too, and us shielding them from them are not helping anyone.

Really this could all be solved if they (or a representative) would attend a meeting, or open the meeting file even.

Most often, when people ask me why I don't, they phrase it "Because you're being difficult?" To which I answer yes. In fact, when they don't ask it that way, I usually just say that's why. I honestly don't think people care. Mostly, JUST SPELL IT THAT WAY, PEOPLE.
