I dont capitalize meara, online, but do cap my IRL name. Dunno why.
I hate it when we do something huge-like say move up a release- to make up for another department's poor planning.
I feel like other people's jobs should have consequences too, and us shielding them from them are not helping anyone.
Really this could all be solved if they (or a representative) would attend a meeting, or open the meeting file even.

I'm pretty sure this person is older than you (she was involved with a project here 20 years ago, apparently), but I don't know how long she's been not capitalizing her first name.
We had a professor at the law school who didn't capitalize any of her names. She had a long, convoluted explanation that she emailed out to the whole faculty and staff. something about the patriarchy and personal identity. I don't remember now.
