I love chicken skin like whoa too, but a sandwich of just chicken skin is overdoing it.
In related me-me-me dinner for the next two nights: stew of pork loin, turnip greens, finely diced zucchini, onion, kidney beans cooked in salsa, wine, lime juice, garlic with brown sugar. Question: if this were fan-fiction, would it be x-over or fusion?
As a long-time chicken skin fan, I have to say "Yuck," to the all-skin sandwich. What is up with KFC and the icky sandwiches lately?
A few weeks back, I went through the KFC drive thru just for a grilled chicken sandwich (no tomato), and they kept trying to sell me the double-down. Ewww, no!!
That gawker article didn't sound right AT ALL. Not to say that a gay guy can never credibly explain why certain women and straight guys are into what they're into, but that gay guy sure can't.

We had pizza burgers at my college hangout back in the '80s, burger with mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce.
I hate waiting for the UPS dude. I had an Amazon return to make so they sent a call tag. But all morning I worried I'd not hear the doorbell so I wasn't allowing myself to go swim or do anything. He just arrived. Phew.
And pointed out there's a wasp's nest under the front porch eaves. Hmm.
I also got two Amazon pkgs that were mistakenly sent to my old address (by me, who didn't check carefully enough when ordering). Our realtor kindly ran interference on that one. They were expensive packages so I'm very relieved to have them in hand.
I never did taste a Double Down, but I wanted to. For me, it's healthier to have two pieces of chicken than two pieces of bread. Not that KFC is healthy overall but if you're talking relative evils...
I don't think my tomatoes are going to ripen and grow before frost... not one has ripened yet.

Oh, also? I'm totally dying in this heat. I grew up here but 25 years away made me forget precisely how much I'm not built for this.
I haven't wanted to cook anything for meals because of the heat. So today I broke out my solar oven and am cooking jambalaya in there. The heat can stay outside.
