Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

He is, indeed. Good ole boy in every sense of the word. I knew him in middle school.

I'm just reading along, and suddenly I'm like, "Mosque? Vikings? CIVIL WAR WTF?!?"

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Also, he totally either implied that vikings were here before Native Americans or completely disproved his point about why there should be no white person guilt.

He also claims that "black family values" and "white family values" are very different things. Them blacks want all the white stuff for their very own. Or so he says.

My brother asked me why I'm FB friends with him. I said for the diversity. I can't have everyone agree with me -- that's boring as hell. He agreed and said that I have a very diverse set of friends and that he admired me for it. All in all, it made for a nice moment with my brother.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

"Mosque? Vikings? CIVIL WAR WTF?!?"

I kinda want to hook him up with my one vaccine-conspiracy-theory-loving Rand-Paul-supporting school friend. But even moved away and turned... interesting, she's too much of a New Yorker at heart to put up with that shit.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Them blacks want all the white stuff for their very own.

Well sure, so do I. Only since I'm white I just call it "stuff."

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yeah. From the south over here, and the civil war? It was about slavery. You can talk around it all you want. States rights...to let people own other people. Economics...like the economic advantage you get when you have unpaid labor in the form of slaves. It's not damaging or insulting to my heritage to say so either.

I think the nuance is that slavery was not just about morality but about money. So the war was not necessarily because the great northern people wanted to rescue the poor enslaved black people, but also because of money.

Wait. I thought the Civil War was about Vikings?
