Bah. This weekend I seem to have lost the ability to eat without later throwing up. It's weird - yesterday and today I've felt perfectly fine until I eat... then I get nauseous and puke.

Crap - I don't even remember the name of the clinic where my doctor is.

It was a fairly common occurrance at band camp in hs for a June bug to fly into one's mouth . Not good times

Junebugs used to swarm the bathrooms at the U telescopes. As in completely filling the toilets with drowned bugs. I'd pee in the field before using them.

Cats are fucking cute when they sleep and stretch.

Well, I looked things up further and it seems this was not what is called June Bug in the South but is instead the green fruit beetle, fig beetle - Cotinis mutabilis

Still, they are HUGE and they make this low thrum when they fly and they were all zooming in on me because I was standing right next to a fig tree.

I just talked to my friend Miriam, who's a nurse. She thinks I likely have food poisoning. That kinda' makes sense, as I was fine until after I ate a frozen pizza yesterday.

It's cute when Floridians insist that Palmetto bugs aren't roaches.
