Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I take my hats off indoors...

Why yes! I am avoiding all the work idiocy!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I didn't read the hat article... but are men still supposed to take off their hats when talking to women?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I think it's polite to let them see your eyes.

hip deep in pie

I was out last week with my brother, SiL and nephew. My nephew was arguing that the restaurant we were in (a chain) didn't qualify as a place where you had to take off your hat to eat.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

In college I went with a friend of mine to a bar after a show. He had grey in his hair from the show and was wearing a baseball cap, and they didn't ask him to take it off, they asked him to turn it around backwards. I always thought that was weird.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think it's polite to let them see your eyes.

I haven't encountered many men wearing hats that obscure their eyes.

I've gotten into at least one argument with my father about baseball caps at restaurants. It's surprising to me that it was even an issue, but he has become pretty indulgent of his comforts (he was cold) in his old age. I thought it was unacceptable.

Does this guy ever take his hat off?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Those hat wearers better not go into a bar on a Navy base. When they find out they're going to have to buy a round for everyone in the bar, they'll get to taking it off pretty damn fast.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Had my last session this morning with my analyst before he takes his two-week vacation. Could have gone better.
