"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

When it gets to the Supreme Ct you and I might have to hunt down Mr Justice Kennedy's clerks, Vortex.

The boobs are ready to go!

Congratulations Justice Kagan!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Awesomecakes drenched in warmed awesomesauce with a dollop of fresh awesome on top!

I have to disagree. The apology is nice, but Target needs to do something to make up for the damage.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Hot damn, Kagan!! I think my favorite thing she said during the hearings was, "Like any good Jew, I was in a Chinese restaurant on Christmas."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hooray for Justice Kagan!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm with Fred re: Target. I'd like to see them take back the money or give more to the other side if they can't (more, on the thinking that the same amount would be to equalize things, and then some). Without that, it's apology as in "gosh, we didn't mean to offend you."

In happier cereal, Go Go Justice Kagan!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

In 2008 (I think) Target's overall donations to democratic causes was about 6% higher than their donations to republican ones. Which isn't at all this year, but it seems that historically, they do seem to try to make things even between the parties.

Coding and Sleeping

I'm sort of amazed at how little drama was involved in Kagan's confirmation. There's elections coming up and everything. I figured there would be a lot of grandstanding even if it wasn't really much about Kagan.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I read that the NRA opposed her but didn't want to make a big deal of it because they knew she'd be confirmed anyway and the NRA didn't want to make themselves appear weak.
