Eyes rolling forever after this quote from the CNN article from the Concerned Women for America: "So-called 'same-sex' marriage is counterfeit marriage. Well, that's just false. Quite often it was between a man's family and a woman's family.

The arguments that the right makes regarding marriage are just so... ugh.
I love that there is a petition in the works to put on the ballot the 2012 California Marriage Protection Act. I heard Marcotte on NPR where he made the point that people who really are into the protection of marriage need to look at eradicating all arenas where marriage is under attack, which is, primarily, divorce.

Anyhow, I love that one of his ideas that if marriage is so important to abridge people's civil liberties than it should be all people, not just gay people.
