I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm hoping to do some gardening. The heat wiped out some plants and supercharged others, so I need to adjust accordingly. And maybe I'll clean. It's getting to the point where I don't have much space to work on on my kitchen counters, and that's generally a sign that I need to Do Something.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Here you go, Sophia: Punk Rock. Your money quote:

"Punk rock is a rock music genre that developed between 1974 and 1976 in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia."

This morning Jen K. is coming over and I'm making her waffles. Emmett's still asleep. He had his last wood-bat baseball game yesterday out in Union City. It was a long day of wrangling Matilda out there, and we didn't get home until 8:45.

Tomorrow, Emmett's got Krav. Sunday...maybe we'll go see a movie. Though the only movie we're psyched to see is Scott Pilgrim and it's not out yet.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Saturday, up to Boston for a party;

Does it involved poutine??? If so, give my love to the hosts.

Tonight, dinner out at a place some friends have highly recommended.

Where?

Sunday I want to go back to this new, awesome tavern in Boston that does a really kickass brunch

Where x2?

I am nosy.

Hmmm, extra Jen hugs? I guess I could squeeze in a few more.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We talked about this once....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you go in and it's bad, can you leave early, ita?

In theory, to keep my hours down to 40, I should leave a bit early. I just can't tell what the atmosphere is.

Last week of hour counting, BTW! Exempt for the win.

Boss has already told me he missed my presence last night. I apologised. I didn't give a reason, but I hope my sincerity showed. Grr.

Half the attendees for my meeting this morning skipped it. And then my meeting cancellation doesn't get sent out. I'm really not having a good time with today. But god forbid we get a do over. That's not going to fix things. Let's fast forward to the part where I'm lying down and have no responsibility.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My back feels pretty decent this morning. Down to that mild sunburn feeling. I need to go wake up the girl so she can transfer the pictures off her camera for me.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I just found out that the "Senior Graphic Artist" position at my university actually pays WAY less than I make as a Administrative Assistant, and in fact is not considered a "professional" (We divide staff in to professional and support. For some reason an AA is professional and a secretary is support)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Do other people get confused by their alarm when it goes off in the morning?
