Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

not your mom's socks.

If the weather stays sane, putting in our fall garden and having dinner with friends. Yelling at the squirrels filching from our summer garden. Biking. Sunday is a wedding anniversary, so planning on a nice dinner somewhere.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Saturday, up to Boston for a party

Are you coming to my grandmother's birthday????

I also need to get a pedicure on Sunday. Oh, speaking of pedicures: My grandmother went to a podiatrist or something to get her nails cut (she can't see well enough to do them herself), and they charged $50! Just to cut them! My mother and I told her to go get a pedicure instead -- probably cheaper and nicer and you end up with painted nails....

hip deep in pie

This weekend: friend is in town, so I will see her at some point. Farmer's market tomorrow. Movie on Sunday. It's a long weekend, so Monday is free.

ETA: I really have to spend some time doing something off my "Honey, do..." list around the house. I really need to find a honey to pass that list to someone else.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Saturday the derby girls have a photo op for a piece in the local newspaper. Then we skate.

Other than that, not much going on.

I may hate Charter Communications for my cable provider but damn, I love that I can tweet my customer service requests and get immediate and helpful response. I never have to call those bastards on the phone ever!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Mere words cannot express how very, very, very much I need this vacation.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Are you coming to my grandmother's birthday????

No, but it'll probably be nearby!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

What are people doing this weekend?

Tonight, dinner out at a place some friends have highly recommended.

Tomorrow, I'm not sure, but hopefully getting out for part of the day, since it's supposed to be highs in the 70s, sunny and dry.

Sunday I want to go back to this new, awesome tavern in Boston that does a really kickass brunch (at least the eggs benny are kickass).

I'd like to try and catch up on a couple of movies (Toy Story 3, Despicable Me, etc.) but don't know if I'll be able to squeeze them in.
