Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Speaking of cooking, can I make some kind of cream sauce with whole milk, not cream? To hold together cooked chicken, broccoli, and pasta?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think many Buffistas need an autonomous blimp. Perhaps it could be altered to randomly drop cat treats as it flies though your apartment or house.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Excellent, I figured out who her husband is. [link] (I love the internet and how small the Boston food scene is) But I haven't figured out anything about his new place! Heh. I am very, very nosy.

Jesse, you can make a bechemel sauce, you do a roux with fat (butter) and flour and then add milk and bring to a boil. You'd have to look up the right proportions though. I suck at monkeying around with those.

OK, that was kind of my plan. There are actual proportions? I will look it up!

In other food news, I just signed up for a CSA for this summer! I'm a little scared about waste, but figure that since it's Friday pick-up, I will deal with stuff/make a plan over the weekend and be OK.

Our wings are not tired.

Nora, you should totally be a P.I.! They haven't come up with a name for the new place, which is why I can't share it with you. Go to Clio, talk to Mary--I think you'd hit it off. I adore peeps who love to talk food and wine and spirits with enthusiasm and no pretension.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am asking a lot of questions today, but I need some images of male beatniks- not hippies, but skinny pants/sweater/beret whatever-- Beatnik is not giving me any google love. Can anyone think a movie where someone was a beatnik, or an actual beatnik?

Jesse, how much can I pay you to drop off your leftovers at Steve's? The guy is literally living on bags of pretzels.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Jesse, I think it's one tablespoon butter to one tablespoon flour to one cup of milk.
