We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My bill is mostly heat, not electricity. Except for the weird 6 months where I think someone was siphoning my electric to run a grow farm or something-- my electric went crazy! Thenmy downstairs neighbor moved out and a new one moved in, and my electric is more normal now.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

He maintains that people/communities are tighter in the East.

Strangely, Facebook data seems to indicate that, too.

Trust my rage

Here in CO, our combined utility bill ranges from $80 in the summer to about $300 right now.

In Puerto Rico, electricity alone was $250 Nov-Feb and upwards of $600 all other months

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

$600 a MONTH? Yikes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think it's funny that that guy didn't know why Twilight would be popular in Mormonia or whatever.

I still don't know any of my neighbors. And now I think they hate me!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Drew Brees throwing beads in the Saints' parade today. He's the Grand Marshall of...I think it's Endymion, which rolls on Saturday. Might be Bacchus.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know the lady who will accept packages for me. Because she used to be the super. And she's really sweet. I don't even know the current super by name. I've never been in any of their apartments.

My sister knows more about them than I do, which is fine.

Trust my rage

Yeah, I used to dread the arrival of the bill each month.

That's cool news about the TV crew. I've always wondered what it's like to have TV crews around. People seem to forget they are around, which is hard to imagine

Shit's all sorts of different now.

When we lived in the 1850 Grecian revival house, it cost us $3000 to heat and power (mostly heat) it from December to March. And we tried hard. EVERY window (all original) was shrink-wrapped and the thermostat was kept at 65 durung the day and 58 at night and we each had about 7 billion blankets on our bed.

Our electric/gas here runs about $200 in the winter but our (the state's) gas bills have gone up about 60% this year for some silly reason - I don't know what.
