Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Snowpocalypsegeddon is well underway here in C'ville. I'm going back to bed to hibernate.

I am officially off the clock now.

Only an inch out there so far (I so coulda gone to work!) but it is a heavy wet inch.

Oooh, I like that house, too, msbelle.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yeah, the snow this go 'round is different. Last time, I was light and dry, good for skiing and sledding. this is the wet stuff, good for snowballs and snowpeople.

I am extremely amused, I just saw the actor who plays Lem playing a small time criminal on Law and Order. I'm just not seeing the Thug Life :)

hip deep in pie

I can't believe you guys are having snowpocalypse and the next precip we're expecting is rain on Monday. You can have it, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Rain, rain, rain here in LA.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Consensus among the TV weather people seems to be that the December storm was the snowpocalypse, and this one is snowmageddon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I kind of just realized I've had a sore throat all day. I better be able to sleep that off tonight.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

No snow yet here, I kinda doubt we will get 4-6 I heard predicted.

Mac had a bad afternoon, I hope it does not spill into tomorrow.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am done with the grant proposal! woo hoo!

I want to know why the media came out with all of this the day after the election. Isn't this their job?

In 2004, the NYT was careful not to publish a story on Bush (I am sorry, I can't recall what story--debate FAIL!) that could have had a big effect on the election outcome until after the election for that very reason. I'm not sure why it's no longer considered part of a newspaper's mission to publish stories that could have an important impact in a timely fashion, but I do notice they take pains to mitigate any real impact the news has on actual political events.
